This is the fourth week that we are publishing a series of pictures on the lifetime work of one of Ibiza’s most famous artist and each week we will carry on to publish ten pictures of the paintings of Antoni Pomar.

These ten pictures and all other paintings of Antoni Pomar that we will show over the following weekly editions will be then added to the Artists on Ibiza (Fifteen) article by José P Ribas which initially appear in Weekly Edition 063 Saturday 11^th May 2002.

In that initial week we published personal pictures of Toni Pomar’s from 1930 along with pictures of his painting at the beginning of his career from 1940 to 1951.

The second week we included ten pictures of Toni Pomar’s paintings from the period 1950 to 1953 and in part three we made available in print ten pictures of his paintings from 1953 to 1968.

All these pictures of the wonderful painting by Antoni Pomar have been taken from a marvellous book that was gratefully compiled and published by the local bank “Sa Nostra”, supported by the Works and Society of Culture, the Contemporary Museum of Art and also by the Ibiza Town Hall.
